All members are expected to abide by the Derby Bowls Code of Conduct:

·  Bowls should be enjoyable and fun, and Members should encourage everyone to enjoy the game of bowls and understand that people have different motivations for taking part.
·  Members must respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of age, gender, ability, race, cultural background, religious beliefs, or sexual identity.

·  Members are expected to practice fair and disciplined play - foul play, cheating, foul, sexist, or racist language is not acceptable behaviour.

·  Members must take responsibility for ensuring they are up to date with the rules of the game, understand and adhere to them.
·  Members must respect match officials and accept their decisions.
·  Members should recognise the valuable contribution made by committee members and team captains who give their time and resources free of charge.

·  Members must wear suitable clothing and enclosed flat-soled footwear whilst on the green.
·  Members must pay any fees for matches and other events promptly.
·  Members are only allowed to smoke or vape within the designated area, and not in the Clubhouse, Shelter or on the green.
